Veneration was composed in 2019 for the Baylor University Composition Competition. The music aims to evoke the emotions of reverence, pride, and gratitude in the listener, and was inspired by a portrait in the Armstrong-Browning library at Baylor University.

Veneration was named co-winner of the competition, and was recorded by the Baylor Wind Ensemble under Dr. Eric Wilson in 2019.
